Dear Trams Back Office Customer:
Since the release of 3.03 on 6/29/10, we have received customer
feedback on a few issues and want to convey the temporary workarounds
to use until 3.03 beta 2 is ready for delivery.
Issue 1: Dynamic SQL Error issued when
Previewing a Vendor Statement.-206 column unknown VENDERNAMEUPPER
[Workaround] Upgrade to Interbase version 2007 or download 3.02
hotfix available on our website. Please contact support for assistance.
Issue 2: When report is emailed, there
is no prompt that the email is sent or whom it is sent to
[Workaround] Save report as a PDF and then attached to an email
launched from Outlook.
Issue 3: When using the Continue Entering
Invoices checkbox, error "Invalid Number. Number must be
in range 1..2147483647" is displayed when saving or canceling
an invoice.
[Workaround] Uncheck the "Continue entering invoices"
checkbox.
Issue 4: Correct issue when copying
a payment and changing the amount - currently passing the old
amount to the journal entry.
[Workaround] Manually update the journal entry amount
3.03 beta 2 is targeted for release to all Canadian agencies
during the 2nd week of August, however, timelines may need to
be altered based on feedback during the initial beta phase rollout.
Also, the 3.03 beta 1 release notes stated that a TCR report was
available to identify profiles where the province codes are missing.
Another suggestion to help expedite adding the province would
be to perform a profile query in Trams Back Office:
- Profile Type = Vendor, Leisure and Corporate
- Click the query button
- Click the Province column header to sort by Province
- Click on the Sort by button and add City as an additional
sort
- Once in the profile, make the change and click the right arrow
button in the profile to move directly into the next profile
(the changes in the previous profile are automatically saved)
Alternately, if you have Clientbase, multiple profiles can be
modified using the Global Modify feature. Contact support for
assistance if necessary.
In the particular case of this release, the need to meet the
July 1st HST deadline superseded the normal requirement to go
through a complete release cycle before making an update available
to such a broad audience. We appreciate your patience and your
partnership and apologize for any inconveniences these undetected
issues may have caused you.
Kind Regards,
Linda Pannekeet
